Rachael Rudin

Ms. Rudin is the firm’s founder and managing attorney. Ms. Rudin’s goal is to provide her clients with thoughtful and effective legal representation, and she offers practical, solution-focused options to the often-difficult issues many families face.

Some of the firm’s specific services include family law mediations, collaborative divorce, traditional divorce litigation, modifications of prior family law judgments, step-parent adoptions, legal name change actions, estate planning and probate.

As a litigator, Ms. Rudin practices exclusively in the areas of marital and family law and probate. She is also trained in the collaborative practice of family law.

Ms. Rudin graduated with a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2009, where she served as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2006, earning her B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Business Administration.

Ms. Rudin presently serves as the immediate Past Chair of the Marital and Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and previously served as the Section’s Chair for the 2020-2021 Bar Year. She volunteers her time with Are-You-Safe, a local non-profit domestic violence victim’s assistance organization. Ms. Rudin is also a former member of the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and previously co-chaired the organization’s mentoring committee.

Tess Bedell

Ms. Bedell joined Rachael Ledet Rudin, P.A. in January 2023. Her primary areas of practice include family law, estate planning, and probate, which she has practiced exclusively since passing the bar exam in 2019. Prior to sitting for the bar, Ms. Bedell worked in family law, estate planning, and probate as a law clerk and paralegal since 2015.

A proud Double Gator, Ms. Bedell graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2016, earning a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Criminology. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2019. During her time in law school, Ms. Bedell was a Certified Legal Intern for the Gator TeamChild Juvenile Law Clinic, where she represented child-clients in dependency and delinquency proceedings. Her passion and dedication to these cases earned her the book award for the highest grade in the clinic.

Ms. Bedell is an active member of the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa and the Marital and Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She volunteers with Bay Area Legal Services through their Volunteer Lawyers Program assisting pro se litigants in completing family law forms. She also spends her time as an assistant tutor for Mind Over Legal Matter helping students in preparation for the Florida Bar Exam.
